Part-Time Promoter/Sales

Role Description: Candidate will be trained about the wine category in general and specifically about the 50 different types of wines that Gusto represents from all over the world during the orientation. Reading material will be given as well as training on selling points and pronunciation of grape varietal, regions, producers. This is a job that requires interacting with walk-in customers at a wine boutique throughout the day. A break will be provided from 3 to 3:15pm and 6 to 6:15pm.

Require candidates who are genuinely interested in learning about the wine industry and committed to spend time on the reading materials to learn quickly. Candidate will get opportunities to learn about wines and become a recognised professional in the wine business with a leading importer and wine brands of the country. This can become a long-term position with future growth options in a national company.

Basic mandatory job expectations:

- Candidate will be expected to be completely fluent in English.

- Arriving and leaving on time on each of the 3 days. Attendance register at the store.

- Complete attention in the store to each customer that walks in. No phone allowed.

- Must meet sales target minimum no of bottles to be sold each day/weekend.

- Must report to office on Saturdays and Sundays to email reports. Sunday sales report can be emailed from home on Mondays.

Renumneration

- Rs5000 per month plus sales commission for achieving monthly target.

- Bonus for completing 12 months with good attendance.

Working Days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hours and Location: 12pm to 9pm on the above days. Report to office in Ballgunge at 12pm on Friday and Saturday and then to Quest Mall by 12:30pm. Report directly to Quest Mall on Sundays.
